APLICAÇÃO DO QFD PARA SUPORTE A GESTÃO DE CADEIA DE SUPRIMENTOS: LEVANTAMENTO TEÓRICO

A gestão da cadeia de suprimentos (SCM) exige das empresas uma reestruturação organizacional, integrando suas atividades com os demais membros a fim de aumentar a eficiência nos processos. A utilização de ferramentas de outras áreas tem sido proposta para auxiliar no alinhamento dos fluxos ao longo da cadeia, entre elas destaca-se o QFD, que permite traduzir demandas logísticas em características de processos correspondentes, proporcionando rapidez e eficiência na comunicação entre os membros. Assim, o presente artigo objetiva fazer uma análise teórica das publicações de SCM que utilizaram QFD, identificando como este método pode contribuir para a SCM. Identificou-se que a utilização do QFD pode ser dividida em quatro abordagens: ao longo da cadeia de suprimentos, em um membro isolado, para toda a cadeia, e em um elo. As aplicações em diferentes contextos da SCM indicam que existem muitas possibilidades para esta combinação, reduzindo importantes lacunas no conhecimento desta área.
